OHSAA Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Ohio High School Athletic Association
The Ohio High School Athletic Association, together with its six District Athletic Boards, provides more than $200,000 in scholarship funds to 200 graduating high school students through the OHSAA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Program.
Eligibility — Scholar-Athlete Requirements
Each applicant must satisfy all of the following minimum criteria:
- Be a graduating senior.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, measured at the end of the seventh semester.
- Have earned at least three varsity letters in a single OHSAA‑sanctioned sport, or at least four varsity letters combined across two or more OHSAA‑sanctioned sports. (Note: cheerleading is not recognized as an OHSAA‑sanctioned sport.)
- Not be a recipient of any athletic scholarship (full or partial) from an NCAA Division I or II institution, and not be an appointee to a U.S. Military Academy — such applicants are ineligible.
