Overview
The INKAS “Rising Star” Scholarship recognizes exceptional post‑secondary students who are studying engineering or business disciplines and who demonstrate promise to contribute to the industries INKAS serves. This award underscores INKAS’s investment in the next generation of leaders and innovators. Applicants must submit an essay on the assigned topic; the INKAS® Scholarship Committee will judge submissions on organization, clarity, originality, applicability to INKAS®’s field, and forward‑looking vision.
Award
Two scholarships will be granted — one for the Engineering & Technology stream and one for the Business, Finance & Law stream. Each selected recipient will receive CAD $2,500.00. Awards will be presented by INKAS CEO David Khazanski and Chairwoman Margarita Simkin.
Scholarship Streams
1) Engineering & Technology Scholarship
For students enrolled in engineering programs with an interest in improving security, manufacturing processes, or technological advancement.

2) Business, Finance & Law Scholarship

Eligibility
To be considered for the 2025 Rising Star Scholarship applicants must:
- Have achieved at least a 75% average (or equivalent GPA) in their most recent term/semester.
- Be currently enrolled full‑time, or have plans to enroll full‑time, in an Engineering or Business program at an accredited university in Canada or the United States for the 2025 academic year. Required documentation: a recent unofficial transcript and, if applicable, an acceptance letter.
- Be one of the following: a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. Green Card holder, or hold a valid study permit/student visa for Canada or the United States. Required documentation: a clear copy of the relevant ID or permit.
Essay requirements
- Length: up to 750 words.

Evaluation and selection
The INKAS® Scholarship Committee will evaluate entries on the essay’s structure, clarity of expression, creativity, relevance to INKAS®’s industry, and demonstration of a future‑oriented perspective.
