Colorado White Rose Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Impertial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire
Introduction
Established in 1994, the White Rose Scholarship Foundation was created to provide college support to Colorado residents. Operated as a program of the Rocky Mountain Court System, Inc. (also known as the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire, ICRME), the foundation awards scholarships payable directly to accredited schools. Awards must be applied only to tuition or to the purchase of textbooks. Applicants must live in Colorado and be enrolled in, or applying to, an accredited institution of higher learning.
History and funding
Since its founding, the White Rose Scholarship Foundation has distributed more than $285,000 to assist numerous students in continuing their postsecondary education. The scholarship pool is built from fundraising by ICRME members along with private contributions. Recipients are announced and given their awards each year at the White Rose Gala. Over the past 11 years the foundation’s annual disbursements have averaged $15,000, with individual awards typically ranging from $500 to $2,500.
